NOTE: Only USA-based candidates will be considered for this position. Frankel is unable to provide sponsorship at this time. This hybrid role requires being in the Gainesville, FL office from Tuesday through Thursday, and Monday and Friday are remote days.
The Role
The Account Manager owns the day-to-day relationship between Frankel and their assigned clients, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring client needs are met through clear communication, sharp coordination, and strong execution. They work closely with creative, media, production, PR, digital, and strategy teams to brief, guide, and deliver integrated marketing plans that actually move the needle for clients. Success in this role looks like clients who trust you, projects that run on time and on budget, and a growing account that reflects the strength of the relationship you've built.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
- Manage day-to-day client communications and project workflows, ensuring timely delivery of work and consistent quality
- Support the development of marketing strategies and communications plans based on client goals, market research, and audience insights
- Brief internal creative, media, production, and digital teams with clear, concise, and strategic direction
- Coordinate and attend client meetings, presentations, and status calls; prepare meeting agendas, notes, and recaps
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver campaigns that meet client objectives and budgets
- Assist in preparing estimates, timelines, and budgets; track project costs and help manage billing accuracy
- Write and maintain client status reports, timelines, and other key documents
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape relevant to client business
- Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts and work with leadership to present recommendations
- Ensure deliverables align with the client's brand standards and marketing goals
- Participate in internal reviews of creative and strategic work, providing thoughtful feedback
- Maintain accurate documentation and project files
- Support new business efforts and pitches as needed
- Build working knowledge of assigned clients' industries - think higher ed, financial/wealth management, real estate development, or professional services - to provide informed, credible counsel
- Navigate compliance-sensitive or highly regulated client environments with appropriate discretion and attention to approval processes
- Continuously work to expand knowledge of marketing, advertising, and client industries
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in an account management role within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency - agency experience is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Solid understanding of marketing strategy, branding, digital, and integrated communications
- Experience managing integrated campaigns across multiple disciplines (brand, digital, PR, content, production) rather than a single channel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with various teams and personalities
- Professional presence and client service orientation
- Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to grow

Compensation & Pay Transparency
In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, Frankel includes the expected salary range for this role. Actual compensation will depend on factors like experience, skills, and internal equity. All full-time employees are eligible for our full benefits package, including medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, generous PTO, and more.
The salary range for this position is $45,000-$75,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
